ATL Babes — Bawse Kitty & Witchy Cleo
The dynamic dancing duo consisting of New York natives Bawse Kitty & Witchy Cleo promotes body positivity in and outside of the strip club. They enjoying networking and dancing in Atlanta much more as of late because it has opened doors for them mentally and physically.
The two seductresses began dancing early 2015 and have now made a stable loving career and many friends because of their individual lines of sex work. Contrary to the popular belief sex work is extremely safe and stands to be a positive uplifting community for all it's participants. Atlanta is one of the most popular cities for sex work, specifically exotic dancing which makes it a bit more challenging to rise in rank, but that's no problem for Witchy Cleo. Dancing is competitive in nature, but as it stands for all competition "you lose and you win", says the young dancer. As the mother of their "girls" Bawse Kitty makes sure to instill that [and a snack when needed] attitude in everyone around her to make sure everyone has a good time and makes the money they deserve.
Could you start by telling us your name, where your based and how long have you ladies known each other?
BK: I'm Kitty & I've known Cleo since she was a freshman in high-school.
WC: That was about 6 years ago. We are from the same area. We are based out of Atlanta but we do travel with and without each other.
How is it like being two attractive women working together. You guys mentioned you dance, could you guys elaborate on that? So many people have misconceptions of that lifestyle and we want your point of view!
BK: We use our woman nature and intelligence to dominate in a make saturated environment.
WC: It's fun working together. As far as looks, they benefit more than anything. Sometimes our looks get us to where we need to be but our personalities and work ethics and communication skills/approach takes us further.
BK: Dancing is hard work, girls are always asking for advice and tips on how to get started and I'm like, "Girl. Nobody told me anything!" It's a lifestyle, and you have to make sure not to get sucked in. Someone called it the underworld once. It's fun & exciting each night bringing in money. It sucks when you don't. I don't have to dance at the moment, but I've danced on and off for two years.
WC: We both do dance. It's certainly a lifestyle and not just a job. But certainly a job and not just a hobby. I started in the summer of 2015. I think we make it attractive to other women and younger girls because it's flashy and fast paced so they usually ask for tips or advice. "Make your money, don't let it make you" is the most cliche yet best fitting quote.
What obstacles have you faced trying to dominate a male saturated environment? What are the advantages and disadvantages in being a dancer?
WC: There are times when we work frequently and times when we don't at all. That's the best part. We build our own schedules. Which helps a lot with the other things we do. Obstacles? Being thought of as less than a man and sometimes less than a person. It's like they say "you're just a stripper"... As if we are not human. The disrespect is hard but you grow to become oblivious. Yes that is an advantage. It's a networking job... To be honest. A disadvantage is the slander of being a dancer. And the stress on your body.
BK: Meeting new people is definitely an advantage of dancing.
Could you try to visually describe to me the underworld? We still live in a society where people find nudity offensive yet others see it as art. What helped you with confidence in nudity? How do you guys overcome the slander?
WC: The strip club as the underworld.... Well it's like once you're in, it takes a strong soul to get out. It's all kinds of dark and twisted shit happening in the clubs too. Super carnal.
I never had a problem with my nudity. I'm proud. I'm confident in my body. It's beautiful to me. People don't get that and there's nothing I can do. Everyone is naked under those clothes so I say "fuck it".
BK: I'm 100% myself so I know I can't change that & I know some people won't like that. So I just charge it to the game.
What advice would you give to people having trouble accepting their bodies? What are some of the dark things that happen in the underworld? Is it hard being in a relationship with living the lifestyle you live? You guys are always working and networking, does that come in the way at times?
WC: I tell them to love themselves. There's only one of them. No one will love them as much as they do. Once they are body posi they can spread it and make others aware. And shit like drugs, fights, dirty shit. It isn't if the person you're with is either understanding and down for you or they are grinding just as much as you.
BK: My advice to girls who are uncomfortable with their bodies is to figure out why, and then fix it or love it. If you don't fix it then you really don't hate it. You just enjoy self loathing.
Is it competitive working with other girls? Atlanta is known for its lifestyle. What's the wildest thing that's happened to y'all in the lifestyle? Have you ever had to deal with rappers? Also webcam is the safest form of sex work yet people have no idea how safe and positive the community is.
WC: Oh it's definitely competitive. And just like any competition, you lose and you win. Lol I don't know what considered wild to you because everything seems normal to us. Atlanta is full of thrills. And rappers, yes. We are close friends to many artists and to those we aren't friends with, we have cross paths with more than.
Kitty does webcams, I don't.
BK: Fucking for money is considered apart of the underworld and a lot of that goes down in the strip club. Which is illegal. Then there's selling drugs and alcohol. Sex trafficking. Underage dancers. Just a lot of shit. I met my BF at a stripper party that he hosted for me. He supports everything I do, 100% as long as it makes sense. He comes to all my parties and events. He's my best friend. There's no conflict whatsoever. It could be competitive but I don't pay attention to other people. I see it like we both here, there's no competition. We made it this far either doing the same shit or opposite shit, either way we BOTH here. I can do what u do baby.
Webcam is fun & exciting. It's for people like me who do sex work and don't have sex or like interacting with humans lol.
Could you go in depth over some of the thrills? And do you plan on staying in Atlanta permanently? Or? Could you also elaborate on mom of hoes? What does "hoe" mean to you? We want our readers to get to know you more personally! You guys are taking over the Twitter realm, how has it been creating a platform in such a short time?
BK: I call myself mom because I literally take care of bitches. And it's by choice. When we go out I have snacks in my purse, I'll go with you to the bathroom, I'll pay for you if you can't, it's just a mom vibe but I'm still doing me. It's really just me being a Capricorn.
What is a hoe? Lol.
WC: Just a lot of fun. Crazy nightlife. Good party's, strange people, the whole nine. Ever since I've sobered up I try to stay away from the life I lived before. I'm not sure if I'll stay permanently. And even though I'm not from here, it's home. Both me and Kitty are from New York. Kitty is the mom of hoes lol. From my perspective she is a care giver to girls. She gives them knowledge and spreads positivity. Hoe to me is a lot of things. Slang for just a woman or female. A sexually liberated woman. A chick who sells pussy. A derogatory term used by men to bash women. It's a lot. I guess it's how you use it.
You guys should definitely work on an independent film over your life and work because it seems full of thrills! Is there anything else you want your audience/readers/fans to know about you? Twitter kind of limits us to show a personal side of us since. Is there something about y'all that people don't know that you wouldn't mind sharing?
BK: I'm definitely investing in a go - pro to document me and Cleo's adventures this year. In the mean time you can check out my many blogs, I have a blog for literally every audience. And just stay tuned because We have a lot of good stuff happening collectively and separately!
WC: Live you're life to the fullest because I do and there's no one is stopping you but you and if they don't like that tell them to suck your dick.
