I AM A WOMAN,

We are second runner up,

receiving the most slander after a breakup.

Sexualized beyond bodily functions,

yet the acts of pleasure leads to nothing but my destruction.

Socially seen as a piece of meat,

coincidentally mistreated, beaten and defeated.

My strength runs from the core of my heart,

otherwise all the words told about me would hit me like a dart.

My dependence on myself has misogynic men screaming,

because seeing my happiness at my own expense is freeing.

Locked up to think I am nothing,

to drive the fragile male ego which is disgusting.

My existence is valid,

no other thought on this shall be added.
