Meet WhyJae

Rapper, WhyJae aka Lil Ferrari gives us in an insight on the challenges he's faced with music throughout the years, and artists who have inspired him. As you begin to read, you'll notice a lot of artists you may know like Kanye West, Big Krit, and Michael Jackson. He also goes about and tells us what he believes can make you advance and become successful. 

UT: What's your name, age, and where are you from? 

 WhyJae: My name is WhyJae aka Lil Ferrari, I'm 24, I'm from mobile Alabama. Raised in Alabama, and Texas.

UT: How long have you been doing music?

WhyJae: I wrote my first rap when I was in 3rd grade. I knew this was what I wanted for the longest now before it became a trend to be a "rapper".

UT: What's a challenge that you have faced with music?

WhyJae: My main challenge has been finding out who I can fully as a artist but people change daily so i stop stressing it and just started writing based off how I felt that day.

UT: What music artist have inspired you? Who are your influences?

WhyJae: Artist that have inspired me really stretches. 2pac, Michael Jackson, Pharrel, Big Krit, Vic Mensa, Kanye, Nipsey hussle and many many more. As far as influence on my life would easily be my parents for everything they gotten me and my family through, my siblings and my close friends.

 UT: What skills/personal attributes are most important to being successful?

 WhyJae: Basically I believe just being yourself no matter what your trying to do. I believe that no matter what your career is, its take you being able to do things your  way, with your own spin and style on it, is what helps you advance and become successful in any situation your in.

UT: What personal advice would you give to someone wanting to pursue this career?

WhyJae: Nothing worth having, comes easy.

UT: What's your vision of 2016? 

WhyJae: I wanna get back on the road and hopefully knock out a tour a two, and get closer to my financial goals.
