"I might be too serious honestly, this is really all I got. I made my music [and] art my life." Say's the young lord who has just released a five track EP titled "Virgo" via Soundcloud on april 4th 2016.
Who is Lord Linco?
- Lord Linco is a beautiful, universal, ever evolving artist.
You have just released your EP "Virgo" how do you feel about it? Do you feel as if the public received your message?
- I'm excited about Virgo because it's so different yet slightly similar to my past work. The public didn't receive my message because it hasn't reached the general public yet. I do know that my die hard fans understand it though. Shoutsout to all of them.
Can you describe the process of making Virgo, is this your first official project?
- Making Virgo was pretty sick actually. Like 90% of the songs were recorded in an actual studio, and that was a first for me. I'm used to recording in my room. I guess that makes it my first official project. I have plenty mixtapes on the internet though.
Your EP is called Virgo, are you really in tune to your soul and spiritually?
- Of course! I know myself better than anyone else.
Is it safe to say your third eye is open?
- I've got the eye of ra [tattooed] on my face, you do the math.
Being that you are apart of a conglomerate (Divine Council) do you feel as if there is pressure for you to outshine the rest of your team member's?
- I don't want to outshine anyone, I'm not too competitive. I'm going to pave my own lane like the rest of my brothers.
Why should people pay attention to you, how serious are you about your music?
- I see[and] hear people complaining about wanting a new music experience all the time. Why not pay attention to someone that's different from the rest? I might be too serious honestly, this is really all I got. I made my music [and] art my life.
A lot of people want to make It to the top, what is the top to you?
- For me, the top is as far as I can go and I plan to go FAR. We [will] just have to wait and see.
