Magic City

Marrakesh, Morocco is a magical city encapsulated by rich and vibrant colors. In my short time there, I was able to fall in love with a variety of colors all over the spectrum. I had the opportunity to visit the Jardin Majorelle garden which is one of the most visited sites in Morocco. It took French painter, Jacques Majorelle (1886-1962) forty years of hard work and dedication to create this sanctuary.

Yves Saint-Laurent has owned Jardin Majorelle since the 1980's and after his death in 2008, his ashes were scattered in the Majorelle garden. Take a look at YSL's blue garden below and other photos capturing the magical city that is known as Marrakesh.
