Meet K$ACE — Life of the Party

Nicknamed K$ace during his adolescence, the co-owner of Plusnone became a youthful product promoter, a novice self taught DJ, and notorious for his legendary bashes. He started out throwing parties with colleagues, but as time wore on the influencer began to attract the attention of the masses which created a stable fan base.
Though he dislikes the term "youth"  K$ace acknowledges that he is an influencer who will "...always show the love right back to them". He strives to encourage everyone around him to maintain positive relationships with yourself as well as others as long as they are genuine.
Kyle (K$ace) prefers to promote street-wear similar to the styles of his co-cohabited brand Plusnone (esta. 2013) created by the dynamic duo of Kyle and Abe. The brand shows a lot of promise and guarantees phenomenal projects in 2016, but for now we can just wait until February for the first preview of their line.

Many know of K$ace, but how did  K$ace become recognized?

K: I think it was when I threw my first party with Kyle Rhodes and Glyn people had an idea of who I was before that but after that party my name started to really buzz.

Did people always call you K$ace? How did you come up with it?

K: Someone gave me this name my freshman year of high school and it just stuck.

What is your real name? I'm also aware you promote street wear,  could you tell about that and anything else you do.

K: Kyle haha, yeah I do here and there if I like your brand and you're cutting the check I'll bring you sales, I throw parties/coordinate events/currently learning how to DJ. I also co-own Plusnone a brand that I'm dropping in like February with my boy Abe.

Were you always into fashion or you just grew into it? How did Plusnone start?

K: Yeah, I was always into it I just like to dress nice. Plusnone started in 2013 with a hat that said "PLVS" and a 3m 50mph jacket that came in 3 colors and a cap to match. I came in contact with Abe and told him how the states really fucked with the movement and to keep releasing it because people would always ask me where to get the jackets and the hats but he didn't want to so I asked him if I could re-release the hats. He gave me permission and then slowly after that we started working hand in hand on releasing new products. Now we are doing the 50mph denim jackets, after that we have another project coming as well but I'll speak on that when the time is right.

Do you have a sneak peep of what you have coming out in February?  How has your style evolved throughout the years including for yourself and for the brand?

K: The jackets are dropping in February haha, and ain't shit really change I just got way more cozy. As for the brand only thing that got better is the quality, we are still rocking with the same blueprints.

I fuck with that, they're fire. You take a part of influencing the youth, how do you feel about that? In general, how do feel about the youth?

K: I'm still oblivious to the facts that I'm known as an "influencer" but it feels good to know that I have supporters and I always show the love right back to them you know, I fuck with the youth I just hate the word.

I feel you, they're quick to label people. As long as it's in a positive way, it will be all good.   What's the pros & cons of being well known?

K: Yeah, I just like to keep shit positive. There's no real need for negative energy, and there are none really. It just be lit when I get free food/clothes and shit like that. The only con I can say is people love trying to start "internet beef" for no reason just to get some free clout.
