Okay, I promise I won't rant but I do have a few things to say! Along with many others, the wait for Yeezy Season 3 was like waiting in line for your favorite drink at Starbucks on a 15 minute break. We all couldn't wait and as the day approached we were more anxious and on our toes. Finally, on February 11th, at 3:50 pm, during my ride on the Path train I tuned into Tidal to watch the one show we were all waiting for. The first 10 minutes was intriguing, Kanye slowly walked to the turn tables and we were watching this huge cover move like there was a huge wind in the stadium. But then he started to play his new album first, and my attention went straight towards the music! I was happy to hear new sounds, I love Kanye but I tuned it to see the new collection.

Finally, the cover is removed and the collection is revealed. This is where the confusion started, the music was playing, there were 1,200 extras in earthy toned clothing and elevated models in clothes that we haven't seen before. I was disappointed for a while until it appeared to me that the models on the platform were wearing the new collection and the extras were just wearing clothes to bring the rumored vision together:

Now, I was loving every bit of what I was seeing but between the music and Kanye talking it was hard to concentrate. Models that were standing for too long were sitting and extras were now standing on the platform. The presentation was now become poorer and the attention was taken away from the main reason, the 'Yeezy Season 3' show. I know Kanye announced that he would be playing his music during the show but I expected snippets not the whole album. I am happy that Kanye has taken Yeezy Season to new heights and directions but I wish the presentation was better and the show was more exclusive. But hey, Cheers to a Yeezy Season, we love the new collection:
