Lipstick For Eyeliner
It's hard enough to master a normal winged liner, let alone using fancy colors and brushes that aren't even meant to be used for eyeliner, but getting a beautiful, smooth, bold line is much simpler than it looks.

Most makeup products can have various uses; blush for eyeshadow, eyeshadow for blush, highlighter for eyeshadow, eyeshadow for highlighter, eyeshadow for lip color, lip color for eyeshadow... The list goes on and on, it almost seems like one of those math word problems you had to solve in middle school math class. How many different options do you have?? A ton!!!
When you're using lip products for eyes, first of course make sure that it's safe for eyes since they are the most sensitive part of your face. Most makeup products have to be approved to be safe for around the eyes anyway, so you should be good, but always check to be safe. There are basically two types of lip textures you will work with when you're doing lipstick liner; matte and..not matte. Matte lippies work best for doing liner because they dry and last longer, and its the only thing you need to do it. With non-matte lippies you need you lip color and an eyeshadow that closely matches that lip color to set the lipstick with.
The actual process is very very simple, it's basically just like applying a gel liner with a brush.
FOR MATTE LIP COLORS:
Put a good sized about of the product on the side of your hand and get a thin angled eyeliner brush. Dip your brush into the product and flatten the brush out so its as thin as it can be, since it's matte it dries very quickly so you need to move relatively fast. Draw starting from your inner corner and do your eyeliner in whatever shape fits your eye the best. After you have an even coat let it dry with your eye shut so there are no creases. You can still set with a powdered eyeshadow if you don't feel that your brand is dry enough, but most brands, especially Colourpop, will be perfect. Go over your line with concealer to fix imperfections and thin out your end line, set concealer with your face powder.

FOR NON-MATTE:
Follow the same beginning instructions for matte lip products, apply it in the shape you want, then once you have it on you need to set it quickly before you get creases that you'll have to go over and fix. Pick a shadow that matches the shade closely and pat it on with a thin brush. Use the same angled brush you used to draw your line to set the wing. Clean up with concealer and set it with your face powder.
